A note from Cyrise:

"I am so inspired by the experience of this camp. Watching these young, bright minds and spirits come together to write, explore life through literature, and learn about themselves in the process is a truly rich experience. As a young girl I was blessed to have many teachers and family members who encouraged and engaged me in the process of nurturing my interest and excitement about writing. I am truly rewarded by the experience of sharing that gift with the girls who attend this camp. I have been moved by their writing, their honesty and complexity, and the exchange of insights and understandings that happens in our discussions. Encouraging and fostering the expressive arts in children brings me great joy and hope for our world."
